Things do go wrong - sometimes, and when they do they can nearly always be fixed.
I have hopefully detailed below some of the things that can be done if your DS or DSi cartridge will not work -

1 - To operate a DS/DSi cartridge, insert cartridge in the back of DS/DSi, turn on. Along the bottom of the screen you have several icons, select the second one along - the DSi cartridge (it might have Danny Phantom or Star Wars on it), Then select the Pac-man icon / or Mario Icon (the first one). The list of games then comes up, select the game you want to play, you don't need to change anything.

If the Cartridge says loading -

1 -Take out the DS or DSi cartridge, take out the SD card that is in the top of the Cartridge, and reinsert it making sure that it is fully pushed in. It could be that it was not fully pushed in or that it had slipped a bit in the post.

2 - Try wiping the contacts on the Cartridge, either by your finger or a cloth, sometimes there could be a bit of grease and even try blowing in the slot of the DS or DSi console.

3 - Please check to see if everything is installed on the SD card - to do this take the USB stick and put the SD card in the top. Insert this into your PC. (now your PC will not be able to play the individual files, so don't get alarmed when it says file is not recongised). Read the contents of the SD card,you will have System files and Game Files. If you don't have the system files, you can copy the from my website under Downloads.

4 - Also try installing the System files back on the SD card, overwriting the ones already on there.

5 - If you have ordered a SD card only from me, you might need to copy the System Software from a SD card you already have to the new SD card. There are around 40 different variations of the DS and DSi cartridges, so it would be impossible for me to know what version you have


The USB Stick -

Although this is useless by itself, it is an adapter for the small SD Card so that your PC can read the SD card, either for anything above or maybe deleting a game or even a saved game, so that you can start again.

I hope this will help with any problems you might have, if all else fails you can send back to me and I will fix it for you, if it can't be fixed I will send you a new replacement.
